Andy Griffith dies at 86 - Yahoo! TV
Many of us who are a bit older than others remembers Andy Griffith as Sheriff Andy Taylor from "The Andy Griffith Show" in the 60s. Don Knotts was Barnie Fife, Ron Howard was Oppie Taylor and George Lindsay and Jim Nabors were Goober and Gomer Pyle, respectively. I loved watching that show then and I still catch re-runs on TVLand. R.I.P Sheriff Taylor - Mayberry will miss you!
