safe house does look awesome as well. Most Denzel Washington movies are pretty good.

Act of Valor was filmed with full support of the Navy from what the articles read, and the men in the leading roles are active duty seals. And the navy supposedly let them film the SSGN subs they use to deploy a seal team. Should be really cool. I hope its not all hype and is a great movie. The action scenes are 'sposed to be written and choreographed by the seals themselves, as well as the many of the firefights use live ammo.....

That's pretty much what I have read on it too, which is my reason for wanting to watch it.... I really want to see an action film from men that actually were in the action... I just hope it's not all lies and they really did what they say they did. (Applies to the filming AND the "actors.")

Saw it today. I was able to relate with the" Ethos" the SEALS live by. I also found it pretty deep and meaningful. It has a big underlying theme of brotherhood and family. All in all great movie

Thanks to any Armed Forces member out there, Navy or not!

They did actually use a SSGN for the filming.

Saw it, loved it. It's not a movie that's gonna win all sorts of Academy Awards, but it was awesome. Definitely renewed a sense of patriotism that I may have fallen "out of touch" with. Not to mention the action scenes were incredible. Very very cool!
