"Top Gear" on the History Channel?

Those guys were hilarious last night - out to find the toughest American-made truck. They were in Alaska and had to buy, sight unseen, a domestic truck off the internet with at least 150,000 miles. They wound up with a '73 F250, an '87 Chevy 1500 stepside, and a '97 Dodge Ram.
Sadly, the Ford went down first when it snapped a U-joint on a big rock he drove over. The Dodge died next for reasons unclear to me. The Chevy won when he actually drove it partially into a lake to touch a glacier. I was surprised when he made it back out, too.
Funniest part I thought was when the guys driving the Ford and Chevy thought the Dodge looked too "new" so they took turns ramming into it!
Also when they first "met" their trucks, the Chevy had factory badging for the 6.2L diesel and they were all excited. Opened the hood and somebody had dropped a 350 in it!

The show must prep the trucks first though because they all had cages in them.

Agreed. James Jeremy and Hammond are the ONLY Top Gear presenters I watch!! I've tried REALLY hard to watch TGUS and I can't it's just.. horrible. And I don;t like the hosts. Sorry, I'll be moving along now (As I watch TGUK where they try to kill the Toyota Hilux truck)

The Russian one was mildly amusing when people were still translating it. The Australian one isn't too bad either but nothing beets the UK version.

Looks like the new UK season 18 just came out last night, I know what I am watching when I get home.
