Just watched the Hurt Locker last night, GREAT MOVIE! I highly suggest it, it's fiction, about the last 38 days of a three man EOD team in Iraq, I loved this movie.....i give it 5 thumbs up

BTW, if you can, watch it on Blu Ray!

watched it yesterday! GREAT MOVIE! I was a little nervous at first cause i sent my Girlfriend to pick out a movie and she cam back with this and I loved it.

I saw this movie a couple of months back and it was great! Some parts were sad and some were gory but overall I really liked it. No wonder it won in this year's Oscar for best film.

was definatly the best movie put out last year, im so glad it beat avatar i have watched the hurt locker about 5 times and forced my gf to watch it, and she ended up loving it

Haha, I wondered if this would be in here. It's a good movie if you're not an EOD guy. That, or you can step outside what you know and watch it for entertainment purposes. It has given the EOD community A LOT of publicity, but we have to explain that it's not even close to HOW we operate. Other than the one clown who tried to claim it is about him, I don't know one self-respecting tech that would claim they operate like that. The ones that do get themselves killed. They did pretty good with job description, though. I've actually had a huge number of people on different forums as me about becoming EOD, and my first statement is "If you want to do this because you saw 'The Hurt Locker' then flush that idea right now!"
