Yeah I agree completely. Here's what I'm hoping fo... roughly... 2nd movie: the alien christopher comes back to save his fellow "prawns" and to fix that guy. 3 years later, maybe show what their planet is like in the end. Same kinda cliffhanger ending. 3rd movie: earth is in peril and the humans need a place of refuge.
Now i think that would be interesting!

I liked it, really caught me off guard. Don't want to ruin it for the rest of the people.

Yeah same here.
But at the end the guy was almost completely changed... and his wife showed a little flower she said he made her, and it pans back to a prawn making a little flower. Must've been him.
Not only that but the alien Christopher promised he would come back 3 years later.

And the humans were afraid that they would come back but declare war lol!

Nah, it's ok. Now, if you told who gets liquified or has their head ripped off, THEN you would be giving something away.

Next movie ... 3 years later ... Aliens come back ... Aliens and Humans start a war ... Aliens unaware that Humans have figured out a way to use their technology in the mean time by more experimentation on aliens ... Aliens leave in a hurry.

Third movie ... Humans travel to the Alien planet on a captured ship from the 2nd movie ... Humans continue a intergalactic war with the Aliens ... Aliens get their butts kicked.

It was odd. I seen it. It started to get good at the end then it was over. Rest of the movie sucked.

i would have to say that i felt that the entire movie sucked. peter jackson needs to get over himself. this is probably his attempt to move into the bad *** category, but he just doesn`t have it in him.

come to think of it, the lord of the rings trilogy was also rather boring. if anyone has seen clerks 2, there is a scene where a guy walks into mooby`s to order a burger and elias and him start yaking about the rings trilogy. randal catches wind of the conversation, and taunts the guy until he barfs.

during that scene, randal gives a great analogy of the movie, and makes references to the hobbits beings gay. i laughed my *** off...........

Only good parts of the movie was when he was using the alien guns and actually killing people at the end. Those guns were just obliterating them which I thought was pretty cool/funny which is why I liked the ending.
