Winter storms
Hope everyone has made it through the last week without to much damage or loss of electricity for to long. In St. Louis, actually arnold, we escaped with out any icy roads just trees sunday morning, the ice was gone by the time church was over with. Today we are getting the snow and by dark only had about 2 inches and it was easy to shovel. It has since started snowing and it looks like we are going to have about 6" by tomorrow morning. Merry Christmas to all of you.

Glad to hear you guys made it through o.k. Just a question that you can answer if you choose, do you go to church on Scott Drive by Wal-Mart. If you do, then we may have crossed paths before, but if not then stay safe and Merry Christmas!

Down here is SW MO I just got my power back, it's been off since last Sunday. My house has lots of small damage from large oak limbs falling on the house. The insurance man is coming by in the morning...

Craig it is nice to hear that you didn't have to much damage, I went and did a little job in Liberty Mo, north of KC and there was ice everywhere, but the roads from Warrenton to Kc. We passed probably a hundred trucks from Pike utilities, in North Carolina, on the way over on thursday. I hope that none of your pipes froze on you.

Muddvol I guess you have family up here, and no I don't go to church there. Our church is off 141 and Astraway drive. Where you live at in Tenn,? I go to Atl once a month and go down 24. BTW there is a good O'reilly autoparts in Winchester,TN I know because last month I lost a hub bearing between mm 87 and 105 and they had to bring a hub and tools to me. I also lived in Cleveland for a year as a kid. Just went through there today matter of fact.

Never got below freezing in the house, but I had shut the water off just in case. Insurance man took an hour to look over the house, I haven't heard the total damages yet. He did say that if they can't match the siding they will replace it all...

Yep, vinyl. I've got some extra that I can use to repair the damage and save some money.
I did hear from the insurance adjuster today, $14k in damage. Not sure where, but if that's what he says... |
