Hook it up and see. Unless we can see, we don't know. You should have 6-8" of bed rail to trailer clearance and the trailer should ride level.
So you might can get away with just changing the mounting holes for the springs if your trailer has that. But if you can't or it's not enough, you might have to change them from leaf under to leaf over.
Yea you can do that too. Whichever one you're looking at, it should be level and you can get a measurement from the floor to the bottom of the trailer, then measure from the bed rail to the ground on your truck and get an idea.
