So you remember the saginaw steering gear? Now Delphi and soon to be gone to China. Seems funny, something every auto manufacturer needs and they can't make any money.

Don't get me started on the way our great country is sticking it to our american ("legal") workers. It's sad to see this country going overseas for the basic products that make the economy strong. I've been a loyal member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for almost 35 years and it hurts to see whats been going on. You don't see any foreign cars in my signature they not be new but for the most part made here.

JIM, YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. Sorry about the caps. Since when does a ceo or president of a company have the right to say that a worker no longer has the right to health care and pensions, whereas the boss does.
On another note, with the high price of fuel, 2.99 here in Saginaw, I have picked up a Marathon charge card for purchasing fuel. The first 30 days you get a 10% discount and after that always 5%, for quite a savings.

That sounds good, every little bit helps with the crazy fuel prices these days. Diesel went up 11 cents last night. I just bought some at my favorite station for $2.78 yesterday and today it is $2.89. I hope to get a fifth wheel trailer in about two years, I only hope I can afford to pull it places and not let it sit in the yard.

My feeling is that the war in Iraq is taking a lot of diesel, and when that starts winding down so will fuel prices.
