Michigan Meet and Greet

Hey yall I have tried this before. But now we have new members from Michigan. So lets get some ideas for a meet and greet. Anyone know an event in Michigan that we can all meet up at. Or anyone wanna help set up an event in Michigan. Any and all input is welcomed.

Lets get this one rolling. BC is going to have a dyno and a live band at his place. He is also going to be bbqing. Right BC? We will see if you can get her rolling. You should get BBOBA there for sure.

I can do the Live Band and a Pig Roast. Getting a Dyno at my house that maybe hard. Plus I don't think I have enough land.

I have mentioned in the chat room about talking to the drag strip by my house. I live 10 minutes from it. But they want sponsors. They need vendors, or some one or something to sponsor an event before they will even talk to me any more about it. So now I am talking to performance shops about it. The problem is finding Diesel Performance shops in Michigan. There are a few but not many and there is only one near me.

Give marc a call and ask him about some info. I'm sure he will be glad to help you with any questions you have about getting a big event together.

I would be interested in a meet & greet. Being new to the forum and the diesel world, I have a lot of questions.

BC i would come up for that but i would have to take the long way around to avoid Indiana 40 miles of hell

Ok well I am going to work on something and get an event set up it will be next year sometime. I will keep posting updates. I need to talk to some people about getting help on setting this up. I talked to a buddy who works at a Dealership. He is going to find out if the owner of the dealership will be a sponsor. By the way it is a Ford Dealership.

it could turn into a cool trip up into wisc.then take the ferry over to ludington,mi. maybe get some of the wisc.guys over and get vitalidle to come on down .what a boat ride that would be

Next year? It needs to be soon. After November 10th though, that way we wont be tied up with Scotts.

Hey I am sorry Stroketech but this year for Michigan is coming to an end quickly. That is why I am working with the drag strip by my house about doing a diesel event. I know there is a diesel event in Michigan but that is on the other side of the state. There is alot more stuff over on my side of the state. Plus there is a camp ground right by the track. I am working on it.
