I have never pulled before, I just want to try it and see how it goes. I'm not gonna go for broke as I won't be pullin' in the competition. My cummins buddy ppulled last year and he's pullin' again this year and is more or less talking me into it. Should I even think about pulling?

I have a 2004 F250 crew cab short bed 4x4

auto tranny and 3.73 lsd and the front lockers

I don't have much done as far as performance yet

zoodad
drop-in filter
cat delete
(workin on gettin my buddy to get me a muffler delete by pull time)

otherwise stock

Think I should pull or wait til next year when it'll be a little more ready :dunno:

if I do pull, how should I do it, what is the best technique?

I would say wait till your ready. All my friends want me to hit the track or dyno, but I'm not ready to fix the parts the I break. Headgaskets, egr system. You know what the weak link on the 6.0 is.

that;'s what I was mroe or less thinking, plus I have to take a 5 hour trip at the beginning of july, wouldn't want to compromise that

once I get where I want to be (lots of things to take into account), I want to find a reg cab XL 4x4 with the 6.0 to build into a pulling truck, or just a project truck in general. Maybe by that time I can find a 6.4 for cheap enough

the way i try and see it, once it breaks i have to put in all that good stuff everyone is talking about (ARP's, EGR delete, etc) but so far ive been pulling on stock studs. un-modded egr. 108k miles with IDs agg Street and she wont break. dont get me wrong im NOT complaining but i would say, keep in your mind, its gunna be expensive, but take her out and play a bit!:thumb:
