youll be alot quicker once you get that SCT you want.. but your size and tires are a factor as well.... larger rotating mass with stock gears... plus your higher up so your getting more wind....
Well, you'll still be quicker than a late 1970s or early 1980s Camaro Z-28. Back then, they had a hard time breaking the 15-second barrier. Low compression GM V8 engines displacing 305 cubic inches and 87 Octane gasoline did not do much for performance!

dont feel too bad, i ran a 14.72 with 33" tires AND an SCT! this could have to do with my tranny having 194k miles or maybe my reaction times, either way im looking to get quicker
like everyone said get rid of the stupidchips and get an sct. you arent making much power with the stupidchips.
on fuel my truck ran a 13.3 at best on 35s. 13.5 all day. switched out the tires to 32-33s and it ran a 13.1, 13.2 i think i may have ran a 13 flat as well i dont remember.
either way i dont think the tires are "killing" you to the point you need to buy new tires or swap tires just to have some fun and hit the track
sounds like me except im 18 and graduated last saturday
