i have heard the bolt pattern is different...

im looking at a set of the dually wheels and i found a set off a 99 will they work or not?

could i swap the axles into my housing and run the new bolt pattern and everything on the back?
and then do the newer hubs go onto my 2wd 93? then i could have the new bolt pattern with all the wheels options out there?
any help would be great
thanks guys!

You could get adaptors, but they are high.

I don't think any of the parts will interchange, but I'm not sure. I haven't heard of anyone doing this swap. What type of wheel do you want?

i want to do a dually swap but cant find the wheels for my truck. also i would need the bed. im looking to get a set of nice wheels. the 99-07 style trucks have AWESOME dually wheels. and i can find those cheap thats why i ask.

My truck has a dually conversion. You need spacers on the front and rear to get the right offset on the wheels. I replaced my alluminum spacers that came with the kit with some factory pieces I got from a 1 ton truck. I'm still using the spacers on the rear. It is harder to find factory aluminum wheels for our trucks, but steel wheels are easy. I personaly hated aluminum wheels on mine, so I traded them for steel and simulators.

Take a look at this:Arrowcraft - Dual Wheel Conversions

thanks for the site but i dont know how much i trust the spacers. i plan to pull a 12 000 lb trailer alot and im not sure id like to risk everything on hoping the spacers hold.
thanks tho.
so i CANT interchange the parts from a 99- to fit my aplication?

I'm sure you could swap the parts with some machining, but the adaptors would probably end up cheaper. As far as towing with the spacers, I have towed 12k+ many times.

You could find factory spacers for the front and swap the rear end with one from an OBS dually.

if you could find an OBS donor truck you can swap the rear and the front spindles and be good to go. If you look hard you can find the factory Alcoa wheels like I have on mine but they HAVE to come off a ford, the chebbies don't have the alignment holes although you could probly drill them.

The wheels on 99 and new Super Duty trucks will not fit OBS trucks.I tried to get a set for mine and found out that they do not fit the hard way. Best bet is to get some aftermarket wheels.
