If I put F350 blocks on my F250, do I need to put any shims in, or wil it work without them. Want to pick the back of the truck up, just didn't know if I needed to shim it for the angles to be right, can't get a definite answer. Any help would be good, and as I understand it, the crew cab short bed does not need the tapered blocks correct?
i think the f250 blocks ae the same size width wise, just the 350 block is taller.. how much lift are you trying to get.. have you thouht about putting in an add a leaf
I put 4" blocks with a taper when I did leveling kit on short crewcab. Ford part numbers are F81Z-5598-FA,F81Z-5598-GA and ubolts F81Z-5705-EA I have no vibration and you need ubolts when you change blocks.
for that little of a lift it doesnt matter, just as long as your'e not getting any vibration off the line, if so and if you are a crew cab and or have a carrier bearing then you need to shim it. if you go any higher than a 4"block/lift then the block/spring should be taperd.
my 350 came with the flat blocks stock. i think you will be ok with the flat ones. the taper ones are for crew long beds. not saying they wont work as others have said, just that they come stock with those.
