Thought you all would like to see some pics! I had to buy new tires also, as the firestone steeltex tires that came with the truck absolutely sucked in the snow!! The isspro gauges turned out really nice! Very time consuming, but well worth it! Enjoy
looks nice. they look a littlw crooked but if you can see them then i guess theregood for you. looks like it went well hope you did it inside. its cold up there
 You noticed that eh!!! Yeah that's my only complaint. The backers for the gauges don't fit well inside the piller, so thats the best I can get without removing the backers to hold the gauges tight Actually it was nice that day in the upper 20's he he. I did most of the work inside was a little bored at work and decided to finish it up their
Hmmm okay I will give it a shot I was worried about them vibrating loose. I wonder if I can get it apart, and still use the same plastic plugs? If not Im sure I can get some! Thanks.
go to advance auto part and look in the help section if you break them. they should fit tight in there. its actually a pain to pull out once there in with out thet brackets cause it is a tight fit
Hey vitalidle, electrical tap buddy, take them backers off the gauges, and if they are loose just run a wrap of electrical tape around the gauge, keep doing this until you get the tight fit you are looking for. kinda like shimming them you know what I mean.
The guy I bought the tires from is a good friend, and he said the steel tex tires are a great tire for high milage wear, but are terrible for off road and the snow! I love the tires they rock the best tire I have ever bought. I went with 285's. They do make a slight hum noise going down the highway but barely heard over the motor! I got them for $149 a piece. Thanks for the input on the guages! I will give it a shot!
Thanks Stump! Yeah I just bought that this summer! I had a 19ft silverline, but it was time to move up to a bigger boat for the big lake! If your ever in the Munising area let me know I will get ya out on the water Bigcountry! Im on it every day just about in the summer its my saving grace
Hey, your truck looks good. I was wondering if you had any sound clips of your exhaust. I would like to hear a few different types before making my purchase.
No I sure don't. My silverline really isnt much louder then the stock. It has a little bit deeper rumble at the tailpipe, but I think thats because I don't have it straight piped. I may do a muffler delete at some point. I think any of the kits are going to sound pretty close to the same! What you should really be looking for is a good clean fit, and what kind of metal you are going to use, such as stainless if you live where they put salt on the roads, or you can just use aluminum instead. I will say that the silverline fit great no problems installing, and it came with the double walled tip for 425 shipped which was the best price I could find. Most of the other exhaust systems are more, and dont include the tip. If you go aluminum check with Gus at Farmboys diesel he is a vendor on here. Good luck with your decision
