I figured this topic would have more sucesss here. I need some ideas on where to put an amp and two seperate tweeters on on extened cab. as for the amp my only resort seems to be underneath the rear seat but if I travel long I might still want to flip my rear seat into a bed. Any I dea on tweeter and amp locations.
You can fit one under the jump seat up front, I have my DVD player there. do a test fit to be sure. Or you can mount it to the BOTTOM of the back seat, and when you do fold it down, it will be face up then.
And for tweeters, you can drill them in the vinyl above the door handle, or right below the power window switch area.
You can always visit a junkyard for a jump seat. The cup holders in them are 10x better anyway. My Lightning has the console, and I hate it for the reason you said, soda spillage...
And, I dont have an answer for you on that one :/
But a Jump seat will run you about 300 bucks from someone that knows what they have, honestly, I think its a good investment, since you get better cup holders, more space for other things, and an extra seat, along with a MUCH more comfortable arm rest.
But if you DO do that, you'll have to make sure its out of a super cab, the seat trays are specific.
