What new tires should I get?

I'm planning on getting new tires sometime this summer and have started looking around so I just thought I would make another one of those tire threads to see what people had to say.
Im leaning towards an all terrain tire or possible the pro-comp extreme all terrain.
Was looking at the nitto terra grappler but they don't make my size in "E" rated.
Size question....
Currently running 35x12.5x18 bfg km2, Im thinking of doing a little inner fender trimming up front (some of the plastic in wheel well) to clear some 37x12.5 tires??
So choices:

pro-comp extreme all-terrain 35x12.5x18 E rated
pro-comp extreme all-terrain 37x12.5x18 E rated

Super Swamper Vortrac Radial 35x12.5x18 E rated
Super Swamper Vortrac Radial 37x12.5x18 E rated

Super Swamper Trxus STS All Terrain Radial 35x12.5x18 E rated

BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO LT325/65R18 (35x13.00R18) D rated
BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO 37x12.5x18 D rated

Nitto Terra Grappler NTGAT LT325/65R18 D rated (35)

Same tires I have now
Let me know what you guys think

I didnt consider them too much just cause they seemed to be priced allot higher than all of the others.

Anyone heard much about either of those super swamper tires?

I Love the BFG ATs had them on my f150 and my dad has them on his 250 drive great and tread life is awesome. There great in snow and ice also mud pretty much anything you can throw at them! Im going to get them for my 250 when I use my all up.

ya a guy my brother worked with had the Trxus STS All Terrain on his f-350 and the tread pealed right off going down a rig road. it wreck the pass box side and bent the tail pipe down to 1inch. and i here they dong get great milage.

I like me some D's I have
Nitto 325-65/18 D

Mickey ATZ 325-60/18 E

BFG AT 33x11.50x16 E

Toyo Open Country 31x10on 18 (F150)

I think the ATZ and AT have far superior offroad capabilities and have good tread life. The Nittos and Toyo Open Countrys are very quiet and are "roady" AT's, They dont roar and are pretty smooth but both of them suck offroad. But both are good at sand where as the ATZ's are not

I've got Extreme A/T's on my dads 3/4ton chevy and I love them. They're quieter than the BFG M/T's on my F350 and seem to be wearing better. Plus they're something different than the BFG's everybody else is running.

Anybody tried the Nitto Dura Grappler? They are E rated, and look beefy enough for some snow, and mud :dunno:

Has anyone had bad experiences with pro comp extreme all-terrain? Im leaning towards those when the time comes. I just need to decide between 35's and 37's

I don't know. That's the same question I have. I have close to a similar set up and would really like to upgrade to 37's this summer, either 12.5's or 13.5's, if I can fit them. I'm not sure where it's going to rub the most and I already have my stock bumper spaced out a lil bit.

Yea I've considered that. I put mtz tires on my dads expedition and they seem to be holding up good. They just seem to be pretty $$
How are the claws holding up on your truck? Are the E rated?

Here's a description of the Pro-Comp....notice the part that I bolded. I think that would be the decision maker.

Featuring an aggressive tread design and Tri-Ply construction, the Pro Comp Xtreme A/T 4x4 truck tires deliver excellent performance in harsh terrain, making them ideal for the serious off-road enthusiasts and Heavy Hauler. 40,000 Mile Tread-Wear Warranty. :thumb:
