Unplugged EGR valve and coolant puked wrose than ever....

So I unplugged my EGR valve today and the coolant puked out more than ever like 3/4 of the degas bottle in 15 miles... I have no idea what the reasoning bheind it is.... I am gonna take the EGR valve and clean it real good.... I hope it is the cooler! -Jim

oil temp was 196* coolant hit 203*.

yes sir... I have coolant all down the side of my truck... the heads are completely dry though.

no white smoke going to take the EGR valve out right now.

I hate the outlook I need to set my SCT up to do data logging. I just burned my hand 546456 times so I am getting some gloves.... lol thanks for all the help man.

the outlook is cool but they never seem to last.

If you had an scan tool you could do even better then the SCT datalogging..as SCT's data logging leaves a bit to be desired.

If you have the money I would highly suggest buying an Auto Engunity Scan tool..

Also it is quiet damp inside the intake aswell. -Jim

No I never cleaned it. I just got the truck 4k miles ago. I was going to clean it last week but the wifes car broke down. No telling how long it has been without cleaning. But I did take it to the dealer and they said they checked/cleaned the whole EGR system. Guess that is a falsehood. Good thing it is under warranty! Im just tired of this damn thing puking coolant everywhere and cant wait until the 100k mark so I can delete it.
