This is a job 3 truck & has the venturi T. I noticed last week that I had coolant all down the drivers side under the front wheel, frame, radius arm, shock I mean every where. Also has it blown up under the hood. I had the truck on the 275 spartan tune & was out playing in it the night before & thought that had something to do with it. But turned it down to 210 tune & pulled a 6000lb trailer to Florida & back & same thing , coolant all down the driver side. I have the dpf pulled off & don't want to take it in for warranty work & change all me parts around if I don't have to so any help is appreciated.....Were is it coming from..:dunno:
The infamous blown radiator. Just because your truck has the venturi fix, doesn't mean it can't happen. To buy a new rad I think is 600 bucks or so. So you are better off to put it back to stock, and take it in.
Its coming from the cap....I just got back from a 1500 mile trip towing the whole time & maybe only leaked down a 1/2''. I figured if it had a blown rad that it would leak out a little faster then that????? or am I just denying the obvious???
Mine leaked out slow. I can't remember how much in x amount of miles. What made me look was the cooling fan was kicking on a lot more often loaded with 14k, and back home just the trailer. The second time I noticed it I got out of the truck, and I could smell coolant.
