my friend has a 1997 F-350 crew cab with 200,000 miles he picked up today for 7 grand which I though was high, but he didn't anyways. He was wondering what he has to do to roll some coal. I remember something about a switch he likes that idea, but I don't no anything about that. I no their are other ways so if ya"ll can put the pro's and con's of each one down for us and what has to be done we would appreciate it. I am also trying to get him to join,so we might have one new member soon.:icon_ford:

no smoke will not damage the injectors

can you run stage 1's on an OBS without an intercooler with out running to hot? or would water/meth and stage 1's be a good combo?
It runs pretty dang hot, on my extreme tune before I put on the intercooler with the stage 1s I hit some high egts pretty fast. I would suggest doing an IC

He could get big injectors or bad injectors and gauges plus a new intake if he didn't want more power right just smoke. I agree it is pointless, but he doesn't want to put to much money in the truck. He needs a chip to right that is if he wanted a lot of smoke. I was jk about the bad injectors.

Ok here is what he absolutely needs before anything: Intake, 3" DP and exhaust, gauges, then get a custom chip and go no bigger than stage 1s if all he wants is smoke, without an intercooler though and romping on it to dump smoke his EGTs are gonna get up there and he can risk doing some damage if he holds those high egts for a while, the boost also gets pretty high, way over what the stock turbo can handle so he is gonna risk blowing stuff up
