Okay heres one for you. My drivers side window wouldnt go down. I gave it a love tap and it started working again. Well a few days later it did it again. I gave it another tap and it worked but then the next time it wouldnt go down even when I tapped it. My other windows all would function, just not the drivers window. So the next day I got in my truck and the front windows would function but now the back windows dont work. I tried the buttons on the doors but they dont work either. I can open the passenger side window, but the passenger side switch doesnt work. I got one heck of a demon in my truck. Any ideas.:dunno:
after looking through all the wiring diagrams, it looks like your drivers side switch panel is going out. all the power and ground for all the other door's switches and motors goes through the drivers side switch panel, and being that different windows are working at different times and it's never the same window every time, it's the drivers side switch panel. if you have any questions about why let me know. :icon_ford:
I agree..... Remember.....this switch has the most use as well as gets the most exposure to water from the window being down or door opened in the rain.
+1 on what everyone said. I'd say ebay since there aren't typically many of these trucks in a junkyard :icon_ford:
