It literaly cost less then a buck to do it to yours and four of your clsest friends trucks.
You are not going to notice much from an 18K. Go to radio shack and spend 5 dollers and get the following: 10K, 5.6K, 4.7K, 3.9K, and 2.2K.
You will get more power with a numericaly lower # resistor. When you get in to the lower ones get guages.
If you have any more questions, refer to our tread on this. Copy this - 10K vs 5.6K mod - and paste it in the serch box near the top!
i had the 18k dfuser on my '94 and did'nt like it. changed it for the resistor type mod, and love that one. a word of advise though, on my '94 the 10k worked much better than the 5.6k. the 5.6k had an awesome rough idle but it ran stronger with the 10k. i've heard the later psd's handle the 5.6k alright though.
did the 10K and the FPR shim last night.....runs great
