OK, i have my choice of two things to get over my xmas break.
I can either get a LEER truck topper...the 100xq ( LEER truck caps and tonneaus for Ford pickups ) Ths one is insulated with a headliner and everything, and i would put drop down 15" inch monitors in it too. It would be used mainly to camp in.

Or i can can have a new sub box made and some fiberglass work for more speakers.....using the equipment outta my car. The car was used for stereo comps. and the truck would now have 4 12" Autotek meanmachines, 3 sets of components, and 4 6x9's, batt cap, 2000watt rms class X Autotek amp, and 2 more class AB autotek amps for the mids and highs....car did 159db's in comps before, and the truck would be even louder, more power from 2 batteries and bigger alt. plus less airspace in the cab. I plan to remove the back seat.

With the big hills you have down there on 19, I would get some power first lol. I remember when they did all the blasting and removed ALOT of rock from that route. I use to drive thru there a couple times a week. Beautiful!

I would get the topper first, and then fill it with stereo...LOL!!!!!!!:chicken:

I say big power. Do you use your bed at all? If you do, the topper might be a pain, but if you already have big plans for the bed, you could go a head and get the topper, and start putting your other stuff in till you can get the custom box done.

i dont like the backseat removal idea either, on one hand i am a fan of big stereos and my truck is the first vehicle i have owned with out one not to say i wont do it but i can tell you for sure the back seat is stayin in

for me the first thing i would do is get intake and exhaust then get a stereo

I'm gonna have to go with the 100xq...that's what I'm sportin...I think. Those Leers are really nice. Ya might lose a little bed capability, but there is just something about the lockable, dry storage that is hard to beat, especially if you always worry about someone "acquiring" your stuff. Plus, I think it made my truck look really F-N sweet.

Thanks for all the input guys.....as far as back seat removal, it doesnt bother me at all. Im 6'6 so my seat is so far back nobody could set behind me anyway, plus i hate hauling people around too. If i can, im going to take out the 60 and leave the 40....(remove bigseat leave little seat)......i dont haul much in the bed of my truck, most things just go behind on a trailer anyway, but i would like to still put my quad back there....i had a topper on my old f150 and it still fit so hopefully this will be the same. EODguyJAKE, got any pics of your truck, cause i cant find a full pic of how it looks on a f250 single axle. thanks

Yeah, I have 2 or 3 different angles of it posted in my garage pics. I think I have one more, from the rear, at an angle. If ya want that one, or can't see the others, PM me with your email and I'll send em over.

Personnally, I'd skip the Big Stereo AND the topper. Use that $$$ and get intake, exhaust, gauges, and tuner and a bed cover (like a roll top).
Take out the audio stuff from your car and build your own box to fit behind the seat.

My $0.02!
