My buddy has a two wheel drive 1996 Reg cab and wants it lifted to look like a stock 4x4. How many inches would it take to do that and what would we need to lift the front end and back? Thanks guys!
That would be more of a headache than the lift on the 2wd. The 2wd have coil springs and you would either have to convert to leaf springs or adapt to a 4wd with coil springs(ideal in the end)
To the OP, I know that skyjacker and several other lift companies make lift kits for these 2wd trucks, but for the money its not really worth it.
Well he doesnt have that much money and we were hoping to do this fairly cheap.Plus time is a factor too. Theres no way to lift it? Its just for looks!:dunno:
longer coils up front you will oly be able to get about 2 inches out of it go to a spring shop. about 250 bucks for them then you can get a block for the rear
