Hi I have a 2003 Ford F350 regular cab 4x4 with the 6.0 diesel. The truck is used to drive to town and pull trailer around for farm use. The truck is on its 3rd turbo and 3 or 4 egr valves. The problem is when truck is under a load it will not hardly pull anything. It takes it for ever to spool up. But if you drive the truck with out any thing it acts just fine. The truck is bone stock and never had any performance mods. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Any one else have any of these problems.
I had the same issues before when towing. It was an EGR issue when my 03 had this problem. It wasnt all the time though. It would tow great and accelerate up hills at the bottom then towards the tops of the grades it would loose steam. Once I got over the top I would coast for a while and the thing would pull awsome again. I had a spare EGR in the truck and once I got to where I was going I would swap it out for a new one.
