AM Radio Noise

Long story short, while listening to the lower end (540) of the AM radio band I hear a constant hiss-click-pop noise. It is at about 5-6 cycles (pops per second) and occurs whenever the truck is running or not. BUT, after 6 minutes of the truck not running and the key in the accessory position, the noise stops, and the radio is completely clear.
Question---what runs when the truck runs and stops 6 minutes after it is shut down????:dunno:
Anybody else notice this???
Any ideas as to maybe additional grounding or something?

Any help is, as usual, greatly appreciated.:thumb:

The only thing I could think of would might be the power windows..Dont they stay (armed) if you will, about that long.:dunno:
If you do have power windows, try opening the door and see if it stops.

Thanks guys, two great leads.
I'll try them this weekend.
Q2-isn't there a module that controls the windows and lights? A GEM?
Could that be it? Where is that bugger located?

Thanks for all the help so far.

Bill.

OK. As for the AM thing. I admit it. I am a member of the vast right-wing conspiracy and I get my daily marching orders over the "publicly owned" airwaves.:hehe:
