Good job it looks great.

Probly won't go any lower b/c of the noise and soot in the cab

looks way better. I like the look of the 1 stack on the srw. someday i will probably end up with 1 stack. I just dont want the drone in the cab... how is the noise when crusing?

I agree with Marty, there really isn't a drone, or at least not an annoying one IMO. And I drive with the sunroof vented all year long so I can hear it more!

Anything to try and drown out the turbo noise....that is the annoying sound on the hwy....

Tubular - the drone in the cab is NOT bad at all and my stack sits about 6inches below the cab line now. You can hear a good throaty sound when you're on it, but cruising all I hear is the turbo.

Looks crooked :poke Bite me.....It's most definitly the picture...I would never....:D

You should have did what I did, weld that biatch right to a mounting plate and had NO clamps holding it up in the bed!Is that how you get your fancy heat sheild to slide on it? :hehe: :poke

Although I have "taller" stacks mine are dualed. I think because yours is a single it looks much better now. I would leave it right where it is now.:thumb:

It looks cool, not too low and not too high! :thumb:

definitely looks better. I agree with leaving it where it is now...looks awesome.

Chris - no heat shield any more!

I cut a 4" hole in a plate and welded a 4" pipe about 1" above and 5 inches below in there. Then I welded the 5" stack to the plate. The stack comes out in one piece and there are two bolts that hold it solidly in the bed. I just need a 6" stack that's about 40 inches long now and I'll weld that to the plate after grinding the old stack off.

I'm just having fun with you...i'm glad you got rid of that thing! :thumb:

Let me know what you find for prices on the stack.

I got mine at the local big truck shop/chrome shop. full 6", not tapered to 5", 48" long mitre cut, for $150. just buy the 48" one and cut 8" off the bottom like I did...

Thanks to all you guys for the kind words too, I think it looks way better....
