I just got my new Teconesha Prodigy Brake controller in today. Mounted and pluged ford harness into the ford tow plug (gray one) under the dash. The unit wont turn on, so I dont know if the unit is bad or if the ford tow plug under the dash is dead? I dont have a owners manual for the truck so does anybody know if the tow plug has its own circuit breaker and what # it is? I checked all the fuses and they are all good so I question if the tow breaker is completely pulled, and i dont know which one it is!!!
It was getting dark so I left it for the night or I would have tested the wires with a meter, will tommorrow.
Where is that? I dont have the owners manual so I dont know if its in the engine compartment, or the under dash panel. I know the fuses are all good inside, and there is none missing, I checked every single spot, but havent gone into the engine panel.
Someone have a 99-02 they can tell me what fuse that is?
I just installed mine and just bought my 2000 PSD and it still had the factory towing package bag in the glove box it had 2 big 30 amp fuses and two 5 prong relays you have to install under the hood fuses go in the big box relays go in the small box but this is old I just realized too but maybe this will help someone
ohhh. i didnt install the fuses because the little bag didnt have any. i just saw the relays and thought thatd be it...that has to be my issue  thanks!
