getting ready to buy diesel truck.i have heard the 6.0 have a lot of problems.looking at 2005s.would like to get one with under 75k miles on it.7.3s are going to hard to find with low mileage on them.do the 6.0 really have alot of problems?
thanks
6.0's are really a pretty decent motor. If you can have the heads studded and get rid if the EGR they become a great motor. Even without the studs I wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger on a well maintained '05 and up.
ya bolth trucks are good the 6.0 has alot of easy power, doodad exhaust and sct you will have one strong truck and if you can get an egr delete and head studs you will not have to do mutch to the truck and the tranny many be the weak link as is in most cases. but dont be scared of the 6.0L my dad got an 04 and he loves it im going to put the egr delete on but he had my truck before me and he said that bolth truck are good but he will not go back to the 7.3L but good luck.
