I like the bilstein's that I got. They don't have a remote resovoir or anything, but they seem to handle good. Only gripe is they are a little on the firm side.

I'm running the fabtech dirt logix with remote res and love em. little on the pricey side, but I think they're worth it as they're completely rebuildable. do you have dual shocks up front/in back? i've run pro-comp's on my jeep and other trucks in the past and you get what you pay for. I would recommend the rancho 9000's, bilsteins, or fabtechs. fox also makes shocks for 8' lifted SD's, but they're a little more $$ than the fabtech's and they're basically the same shock/design/technology. also, what type of driving? off-road much? my fabtech's really helped the ride in the back of the truck on the freeway, I live in cali and the freeways are garbage. if you're looking for a quick fix and don't want to spend the $$, buy the pro-comps, but they will likely be clapped out in a year and you'll spend that $$ again.

if you can afford them i agree with the bilstein 5150's shock's with resevoir. they will last longer due to the res and probably ride alot better. some of the others cant remember which are the same shock even built in the same factory. rancho and monroe are like that if i remeber correct i believe procomp is one as well.
