Just read your post about the broken alternator clip on your Excursion. I'm having the same problem on my truck. Did you replace the harness yourself? If so, where did you get the new plug? Here's the link to my post:

I ended up changing out the FICM with one from Swamps diesel. Worked like a champ as soon as I hooked it up. I haven't had the problem since February when I installed it. Hope this helps out.

Just got through reading your post about having cylinder#4 contr. code. I have the same exact thing even after new injector,new injector wiring harness and verifying 48V @ the FICM. The only difference between mine and yours is I also have a low circuit voltage on the same injector as well which at this point leads me to believe I may have a FICM issue with firing that one injector which also seems a little odd. Just curious if you got yours fixed and what fixed it?
