i think i want to trade my dual chrome stacks for one single black stack. it would be 6in. slach cut the top of it would be level with the cab and it would be painted flat black or other wise none as a stealth stacks does anybody have any pics of a single stack. im gunna make the stack my self it will come out where the duals come through the bed if i like it it will stay if not ill put the grand rocks backon.
will one stack be louder than 2 of them and also would it blow thw exhaust smoke higher since the exhaust pressure is now comin out of one pipe instead of 2?
I don't have the comparioson from 1 to 2, but I have a single 6" offset from center. It is not black, and it's a little higher than you are looking at, but I will post pics maybe tomorrow from my wife's computer. I can't really do it from mine. I have some pretty good pics though. I peiced mine together myself for about $300 including the stack.
I am probably going to do the same thing to my stack soon though. Lower it and powdercoat it black. I want to get rid of all my chrome here soon....
there's a fella around here that has a single stack much as you discribe, only chrome... flush with the top of the cab, can't tell there's one there from the front unless he's got it smokin'... looks ok, I like dual stacks if any myself... sorry, no pics... I'll see if I can get one tho..
i just want it where you dont notice it at all until there is smoke pouring out of it i think if it was level with the cab it would be quite a bit louder the stack i have now are about 6 inchs above the cab and you can hear em
one is not as loud as 2, check my garage on here, ive got pictures of my old single stack black slash cut, i made the tip of the slash 1 inch above the cab so i didnt soot my roof.
My tool box is spaced out from the front due to the fuel tank anyway so a single is the only way I could do it but I love the single. I am going to cut my turn out off with a miter cut soon.
thats exaclty what im doing, getting a single stack, cutting it flush to the top of the cab, then getting the bbq paint and painting it flat black, they look sick
