Hi all, I'm fitting a ITP regulated return kit and don't know what I should set the fuel pressure too and is the factory fuel pump ok thanks

I'd set it around 60 psi max.

If you have a boost compensating port I found that running more like 35-40 psi at idle works great for a smooth idle. When boost comes up it will raise the fuel pressure 1-1 with boost so what ever you are making for boost is what it will increase it. Or if you have a boost fooler for your map sensor hook the boost port up after the fooler so it only raises it by 20 psi or so. That way you will have 40 at idle and 60 at wot.

Oh and welcome to the forum! Take a minue to fill out your signiature with the details of your truck so we all know what you got and can better help with questions. Also where ya from?

:ORG welcome:

I found that 68psi worked the best for my stock injectors. I have also found that 55psi works the best for my larger injectors. You will have to play with it a little to see what makes your truck idle the smoothest and quietest.

Hey strokin are those numbers what made it idle the best or make the most hp on the dyno etc? Just curious how you came up with your numbers?

With the stock injectors I was looking for the best sound while at idle, or quietest I should say.

With my current B code injectors it was dyno tested. I dynoed 474hp and 476hp. then adjusted the pressure from 62psi down to 55psi. Then we ran it again and did 482hp and 488hp.

Yeah I know on mine a dyno run and listening to the idle is two completely different things. It had a nasty rolling idle at 60 psi but idles nice at 35 psi. But on the dyno I think I started off around 45 or 50 psi then went to 80 psi and lost 10hp. Brought it back down to 60 psi and my power came back. So I set it up to be at a max of about 60 psi at WOT and 35ish at idle.
