I'm thinking about going with the pro-comp 6.5" lift kit for my truck and was wondering if anyone had any problems with it. I was also thinking super lift or Cage also, but I just wanted to get others opinions before I decide. My main concern is my drive shaft and u joints, I don't wont to throw them out all the time. Also if anyone has any pics plz post them up. thx

I have had the 6.5 procomp on my truck for over a year and love it. No problems at all.

It costs more money but Fabtech or Donaho racing are probably the best to go with pro comp is good too as is Skyjacker. I would stay away from superlift they have gone down hill alot.

Pro Comp is a great company...Im gonna be putting the 6.5" lift on this weekend...Ive had experience with their 4" kit, and everything went smoothly with that....The parts in the 6.5" kit look to be decent as well.

i have the 4 inch procomp. ive had 2 front drive shafts go. 1 steady bearing. and i had to replace the rear bushings on the front leafs... leafs are leafs i think. im sure it was the installers that caused the bushings by tightening them up too much and thus wrecking the rubber bushing. you may have a problem with the shafts... i personally dont know anyone else thats had this problem though. i use fwd pretty frequently so that may have something to do with it. all of this happened before 100 000 miles

yeah i heard 6 inches of lift or around there is always pretty good on the drivetrain so u should be good and pro comp would prolly be the best choice but super lift might be cheaper
