I am about to do a BPD oil cooler relocation kit. At the same time, I am replacing my egr delete with a new one ( I think my existing one is cracked). I plan on doing a nice turbo cleaning with new oil drain lines, BPD water pump, full intake manifold cleaning and replace the degas bottle while flushing the cooling system. I am also doing a blue spring upgrade.

WHAT ELSE????? Truck in question is a late 2004 (ICP on valve cover).

Do I need to do dummy plugs or stand pipe or any other funny named parts?

The truck has head studs already. I want to only tear this monster apart one last time out of necessity. (I will tear it apart for fun of course)

Last ?. Since I am running a egr delete with BPD oil cooler, how important is it to run ELC rated coolant?

Thanks in advance for all your help as always!

Take a look in the 6.0 performance section. There is a sticky that I wrote up about a $50 or less EGR delete that is DIY and better than any on the market. I would go that route. Super clean install and works flawlessly.

That is correct. I have also installed the same kit on about 6 trucks this summer. All working flawlessly to date. Send your EGR delete back and pocket the change or put it to good use with some Amsoil oil when you go back together with the BPD kit.
