Hey guys,
I am looking to get some gauges and before I do that I want to use a manual gauge to check my fuel pressure before I do the electrical one. I want to use the fuel test port.

THIS IS WHAT I NEED TO KNOW : what adapters and hose do I need to check it manually and also I could use it to relocate my sender when I get the electrical gauge. I would like to buy everything locally and not order stuff from online.

If anyone could help that would be great. AND yes I have seen other post on this issue sort of but I need further advice

The adapter you will need is a 12mm x 1.5 oring to 1/8" npt, then a 1/8" hose to relocate the sender.

What he said.

the adapter can be found on ebay for 10 bucks.
as far as the mechanical gauge, you can buy a oil pressure test kit from harbor freight for $20, it comes with a pretty nice gauge with 6' of hose and various fittings. It comes with a 12mmx1.5 fitting but its not o ring, but it will "work" good enough just to test your fuel pressure.

No, it's not gonna work.

You need metric adapter for the fuel psi test port on the upper fuel filter housing.

The fuel psi test port is M12x1.5 o-ring male fitting. Most aftermarket fuel psi sensors are 1/8npt male fittings. So you need to get a adapter that is M12x1.5 o-ring male to a 1/8npt female.

You have choices, you can directly hard line the M12 fitting to the test port and mount the sensor directly to the M12. Or you can buy or have a local hydraulic shop make you a hose to locate the sensor away from the motor.

Here is the adapter in the first link. The second link show the relocating hose style.
