Almost, maybe sometimes 25 mpg!

My goal is 25 mpg guys! Im getting a solid 23 mpg now without a DPF and 50 hp KEM tune. Before I change tunes to 170 hp Im going to do all I can with the 50 tune. I have a couple times been able to get the truck up to 25 mpg on the computer, so I know it can be done. 25 stays on the display for short times every now and then. I have hand checked this number and the trucks computer is off by .3 of a mpg. Now, I think I may have maxed out the 50 hp tune with the truck in its current shape. I've also started doing some hypermileage driving practices. Here are a few things I'm going to try next like folding in mirrors or change to dog ear mirrors. Cover up the grill part of the way and front bummer too. This should cut down a lot of drag. A job 2 air dam is on my list too, I trying to do this with the least amount of cost in over to keep my fuel savings up. Now I now some of you think its a truck not a VW. Any more ideas would be great, any vendor sponsored help is always welcome.

Heres a little update.

The Best Mileage I can get out of the truck is 24.6 mpg without body mods. I have run My 170hp tune 2000 miles and got a max of 17 to 18 mpg max. SO I went back to the 50hp tune and mileage went back up. :)

I can get the mileage up and over 25 mpg but it is very fragile a head wind or a good sized hill will drop it down real quick.
