Truck turned over but wouldn't start or fire at all this morning. Last Friday my alternator went out and I drove on just battery power for 30 minutes. Truck ran fine all week until today, now nothing. I assume its a fuel problem, I heard low voltage can damge the FICM. Might this be the problem? Or is there something I should check before that? Please help asap, this is my only vehicle, and I'm hitching a ride to work as of now. Thanks everybody!

Yes low voltage can kill ficm. Test the ficm voltage koeo and cranking. Test everything else in the sticky and report back with all your numbers

Any drivability issues before this? Check out ur icp and ipr values. Make sure you have pcm and ficm sync. Make sure you have 4.9v reference voltage. Try unplugging sendors on vref circuit one at a time

Since your alternator went out and you drove on batt for a while, I am guessing that you killed your batteries. Take them off and have them tested and charged. They can have enough amperage with the two of them to crank normally but not enough voltage to power the computer to fire the injectors. Give it a shot, it's cheap if it fixes it and it can't hurt anything.

Any updates? Just curious. Inquiring minds want to know. Hope you get it figured out and report back. Could help some of us in the future.
