I am getting ready to buy new shocks for a 2003 F350 Crew Cab 7.3 and would like to know if the Rancho brand of shocks is better than Monroes Gas Magnum Shocks. I believe both are made by the same people, just a different company / name. I also know Rancho are usually a little more expensive as well. I don't do much in off road other than driving through a corn field every now and then for firewood. I also didn't even see anything on Rancho's site about shocks that would fit an 03 unless I didn't look in the right place.
I doubt you'd find much of a difference between the two (Ranchro & Monore) and I don't see the need to overspend on anything else. I got the best deal on the Monroe's on Amazon, as I remember it was like $150 for all four (gas/lifetime) AND the steering stabilizer
Same truck here....but mine's 4x4 (not FX4), just a Lariat.
Everyone I spoke with suggested Bilstein. That said, I have no clue what part number. Autozone had listing for about 4 different ones and when I was ready to buy, I was more confused than I was before I went into the store.
