I'm looking at getting some Terra Grapplers (325/60 R18) for my truck. I have the stock 18'' harley davidson rims. I know it will rub a bit at full lock, im not too concerned about that, but im afraid that my rim will be too narrow for the tire. Which will cause it to wear really fast in the center.
That's the same size I am running on a 18x9 rim. Those tires should be rated for 8-10" rims and I thought the stockers were 8.5" so your HD rims, which I would imagine would be 9" should fit.
pretty sure 325's translate into 35" tires. I rub easily at full lock and whenever I'm turning into a parking lot and the suspension is compressed. I think a 35" tire would rub a lot with only a leveling kit on a leaf sprung truck. Once these babies are bald I'm going to a level kit with 305/60 terra grapplers, fwiw.

A 325/60R18 tire is approx. 33" tall and a little shy of 13" wide.
The 325 is the width in mm, and there are 25.4 mm per inch.
Most manufacturers rec. a minimum rim width of 9" for those tires.
However, a 325/65R18 is a ~35" tall tire.
However, I ran 325/60R18 Goodyear Silent Armor Pro Grades on the stock 18x8s on my 07 and now I run them on 18x8.5 Weld Renegades. I have 24,600 miles on them and still have over 50% tread with towing/hauling heavy and driving hard.
Pics on stock wheels:
They do look better and wider on the 8.5" wide Welds I have now though:
evil and DC got it. you want the 325/65/18. the 325/60 IS a 32.99" tire according to nitto's website. But that is only a D rated tire. I don't see an E rated tire. :dunno:
With only a leveling kit on a 99-04 SD the 325/65R18 will be a tight fit, and possibly rub.
Definitely will rub on the leaf springs while approaching full lock when mounted on stock wheels.
I have other models of Hankook tires on our 02 F-350 and 99 F-450. Good tires, haven't tried out either model I posted yet though. I've seen the ATMs since my local tire shop has a set in stock and I'm there quite often for some reason.
thanks guys :thumb:
I really like these tires but like yall said, they do rub a bit at full lock
