as i posted in the wont start on a hill..........my oil resevoir thats on the front and top of the motor.........it has the allen screw in it. i believe in sends the oil for the injectors..........anyways it wont stay full and therefore ive been having problems of starting my truck..........its a pain to have to put oil in it to start it. is there anything that i could check that would be causing this? or things to change.........where do i start?
I just rebuilt my 99 PS the one thing I replaced was the seal on the drive gear to the pump. Yes it does drive the injectors, they are hydraulicly driven.you can take that whole top case off and replace the seal on the shaft. haynes manual for that model at advaced auto $15. very helpful...
is the check valve external? or a way to check it? the truck only has 27k on it and its a 96............however it hasnt been driven very much at all in the last 2-3 yrs
