The past couple of days the clutch pedal has been getting worse. earlier today it was going to about 1/2 inche from floor before it will let me shift into get, and by tonight I have to shut the truck off to get it into reverse. Its not to the point I have totally lost it, where I cant get it out of gear, or be able to stop but I fear its on its way there. The clutch systems seems pretty simple, it just bothers me its all plastic. Is there any ideas, air in the system?the res is full. How would you bleed it?
probably the slave or master cylinder going.. Even being plastic it holds up pretty well. and the new "kit" is really simple to install. hardest part is getting the old rod off the clutch pedal.
I went with the OFE and it works fine... no slippage at all Peter at sbc actually said it was the better clutch for all the heavy towing I do
