Just Because I live in Hawaii they thought it would be cheaper to mail my Hydra Tuner with USPS Priority Mail. Now USPS Delivered it some where in HOSCHTON, GA 30548. USPS Cannot find the package or contact the post office that delivered it. I Have Filed an Insurance claim two days ago. Also shot an email to Corey about this ordeal. Have not heard back from any of the two companies. In the dark here, This is the last time im ordering from Power Hungry Performance, And getting parts shipped with United States Postal Serivce.:why-me: GOOD JOB USPS
im going to assume your the same person but found this on the nation
USPS just called yup guess what when the package when untracked 3 days and the post office in GA scanned it wrong. so its coming to hawaii and should be at my step tomorrow. who ever miscanned my package in GA F*** lol.
Southmike my local diesel performance shop is installing my injectors should be done tomorrow or monday depends on the shop load. I'm so happy lol.
At least yours was shipped. I can't even get ahold of them to see why the 2 hydra's i ordered haven't shipped yet. I have yet to ever have an emailed answered from them or been able to get through on the phone. Guess ill have to get a DP tuner:dunno:
Talk to Jay, he is the sh*t when it comes to helping us out on this board. I emailed them a couple times when i had questions, i did not get a response so i posted my questions on here and Jay answered me the same day.
No way is the shipping issue PHP's wrong doing. Attacking the company that built the chip but did not ship the chip is ignorant.
Agreed, very ignorant to blame PHP, they are just trying to save you money on shipping but using USPS, I'm sure thy would have used others if you would have asked!
either way, they have poor customer service. i intended to order tunes from them but after calling multiple times and emailing them with no answer or reply, i went elsewhere.
I got through on the phone today with PHP. I talked to Corey and she was one of the nicest people i've dealt with in a long time! She explained to me they had some recent employee changes and she found my paper work. Long story short she handled it with a professional and respectful manner and shipped both of the Hydra's for me today! Ill have to say that's excellent customer service:thumb:
Honestly I had the same problem with the USPS this month. Another company shipped with them. They couldn't find my house. FedEx and UPS had no problem the very same week finding it. So it got sent back and I had to repay for shipping. Those people in the postal service are stupidly overpaid. No wonder it is in such bad financial shape.
For phoenix chips there are alternatives. PHP has authorized dealers which burn the phoenix chip for you. I used KT Performance in florida and they do not have the backlog issue of the home office. Got mine in 2-3 days regular. I called them on a saturday pm and hung up after 4-5 rings and they picked my number off of caller id and answered my questions. Free reburns for 6 months to make sure you have what works for you. Since there is no burning i don't believe they offer the hydra. Haven't asked though. Thumbs up for KT Performance.
I just bought my FICM programmer from. They answered my email and phone calls no problem. I will order my first tune from them soon.
