How worried are you guys about covering your stacks in the rain? Do you do it all the time, let them cool off before you cover them? If you don't cover them, what? do you spray your truck with black water?
The reson I ask, is I have to park facing uphill every night, so I can imagine how much water could collect at the bottom there. I'll probably cover them at home, or drill a hole. Thanks for the input guys!
actually I just remembered, I bought 1 clamp that was just a little too small at the 4" flex connection(you know the whole i.d./o.d. got me). I got it on, but you can see a very small gap there. I was going to buy the right size and swap it out, maybe now i'll just leave well enough alone!
this thread brought memories. in my 20s i drove a mixer in the LA area. we were proud of our trucks. red cabs, white barrels. the new guy, as a joke, or if someone just pissed ya off; hose in the stack. and no, it never hurt a thing.
