so been scratching together my nickles and dimes and brown baggin it for lunch for long time and ready to get rid of my 8in lift kit all springs by superlift...

I cant afford BDS,FABTECH all the super nice ones etc... so:

**procomp with 4in springs, and rear block and add-a leaf for 820 shipped

**rough country spring front and block rear for 920 plus 120 shipping or basically 1400 shipped with rear leafs....

** zone for about 920 shipped springs front block rear

which one is best for my budget? I look goofy as heck with 315/75/r16 with a 8in lift....

thanks guys looking forward to insight, 2 cents and all that good stuff.

p.s. rough country says "lifetime warranty" pro comp is pretty vague...

I would say the Zone kit. I'm in the same boat and looking to do a ReadyLift 2.5" or the Zone 4" and 35's. I really like the Zone kit because you don't replace the track bar bracket they give you a new track bar which is nice. You don't need to do a kit with rear springs unless your stock springs are shot. blocks will do fine. I ran an 8" Pro Comp with rear springs on my '06 for a while and it was an easy install but I had a friend at 4 Wheel Parts and got everything wholesale. My opinion is the Zone 4" for your application.

Have you looked into piecing a kit together your self? I would say don't skimp out on the springs. You could convert to 08 and up rear leafs with a block and get a better ride. Just some ideas

why not a new x code front spring and hanger lift, this will be the best ride.

swap to a stock 08-up rear spring with a single block....again great ride.

when looking at the lifts ( who ever you choose) make sure that if they do something with the track bar, the steering is matched. ( IE, track bar drop = drop pitman arm ) the geometry needs to match.

I have no OEM suspension parts left. Karlos03 said I could measure my pitman arm and track bracket. and possibly take some leafs out of the rear? I have never heard of 08 and up springs and a block though... I found an old ford yard that would sell me springs by the spring code for about $75 a piece. how do you tell if you need a new track bar vs track bar bracket the 8in superlift (spring rear and front) was installed when i bought it and have been trying to find a economical way to bring it to a 4in.

1. how do i measure my current track bar and track bar bracket to see what I need?

2. cheapest route for rear: a. is it possible to take a few leafs and the 1in thick about foot long leaf out the bottom? or just buy the used oem springs from the junk yard and a block? I can fab up a carrier bearing drop bracket from 8in to 4in for my truck its the leafs in the rear that kill me... and anyone know how much the 08 leafs cost and what size block i would need?

thanks for all info learning all the time haha.
