Just finished doing a bunch of stuff to my father in-laws truck. EGR delete, 4 inch downpipe back exhaust, S&B intake, and an H&S mini maxx Race tuner. My situation is this. When I installed the upper coolant plug that bolt stripped out. Not sure if its the bolt that stripped out or the actual threads in the hole. At first the plug leaked alittle. After driving the truck and warming it up it slowed down to 1 drip every 2 or 3 minutes. Also I tapped into the "purple" wire underneath the dash that H&S says to tap into but I still have to switch the unit to batt to have power. Anyone else run into this as well? I think there is another purple wire near that one, and will give that one a try when I have time. Again anyone else run into this? Thanks for all the help.
