I was driving home one night and felt my truck slow down and pull to the left. It was intermittent and not very often. When I got home it was completely dark but I could smell the brakes. I looked in the morning and the caliper bracket was rubbing against the rotor. Not what I wanted to see when I was about to start a 6,000 mile trip to Alaska.
So I got new rotors, brakes, calipers, and caliper brackets. When I finally got in it the rotor just popped off and the wheel bearing hub assembly was bent. Weirdest thing ever. Ended up pulling the U joints and replacing the hub assembly. Not too bad though. About an 8 hour job for everything.
