Yeah at first she didn't want to do it, but towards the end she was begging me to buy it , I'm glad I didn't..............well guys there are a couple different ways to look at it, are you looking for all out performance? Do you want awesome sounding exhaust, better mileage, and the ability to roll the coal? Is a TOTALLY voided warranty not an issue to you? Then I would go KEM/Spartan all the way. I've heard good things on the BADP, but as far as I know only one guy has it and he only had it on there for a week or so. SCT just released their DPF delete tuning and I'm going to try it out and see how I like it. However, I will always run the KEM tuner. I have over 20k miles on it. Mike saved my azz, he was the first with everything and anyone who has talked to him knows he know his stuff. In my mind KEM/Spartan are king. I'm still wary on the 250 tune from ANYONE considering everyone is still "working" on it. I think it should a dyno/drag tune only. I know alot of guys on here are all gun ho and want to biggest tune you can put on it and on top of that, they want to do it with less than 1000 miles on the truck. Guys its your truck, your money and I'm not saying what you need to do, but remember they are going to be your problems in the end. I would wait and put at least a couple thousand miles on the truck stock to make sure there aren't going to be any serious issues later on down the road and start breaking in the motor they way it was meant to be broken in. Then I would start with the 125-150 tune. If the truck likes it and you like it then awesome, you can always send the programmer back and get the bigger, better tunes later , thats why they offer free updates. Then once you get tired of that tune then you get the 200 and so on. The key here is baby steps guys, this truck is a TOTALLY different animal then any other Powerstroke, Cummins, D-max before it, not even Ford has everything worked out yet. One thing to remember is that once you start making over 500HP you need to be ready to start bringing the rest of the truck up to par....I'm talking about tranny, axles, input and output shafts. Hell I've already broken an axle and I'm seriously looking into trannies, we are talking about at least $5000!!!! I guess what I'm trying to say is that if you are wanting to play, be willing to pay . The 200 tune is puttin down dyno proven 500HP, 250 will be at least 550, probably closer to 600HP, how long do you think the stock stuff will handle that :dunno: Also just touching on the programmers that DO NOT delete the DPF. I've found it quite funny and :tard: that guys get on here and say that they willing to re-program the truck, but don't want to mess with the DPF because of warranty issues. Guys, DPF delete tune or not, your re-programming the truck and there for voiding your warranty from Ford bottom line, so if your going to do it then you might as well make it worth it.....this is all just my :twocents:
