Ok guys, i talked to a good buddy of mine from Oklahoma. He said his friend up there is running his Stroke off pure sunflower oil with no modifications at 95% power......anybody have any info on this or even heard of being able to do this?

Would doubt the longevity of it, not having any mods? Its not good for the injectors with the higher viscosity if its not heated. Or do you mean he has a WVO system?

It will work for a little bit without heating but after a while your injectors wont like it

Sunflower oil is Vegi oil.
Peanut oil is vegi oil
Soybean oil is Vegi oil
Saflower oil is Vegi oil

Diesels burn vegitable oil quite well and in fact were originally designed to do so. But the oil has to be hot to lower the flash point for combustion as well as to help it to properly atomize through the injector.
