While shopping around for a front end leveling kit I have came across many options.

1. Shackle kit. (these are the chepest price, but I hear they are the best)

2. mini spring kits with new u bolts (looks to be the safest)

3. spacer blocks

4. "lift hangers" These look too flimsy to consider

5 punched out blocks (ebay)

Any advise would be very helpful.

Thanks
Chris

im looking at getting the rough country leveling kit, 2.5 inch with all new springs, because my stockers are sagging. 300 bucks

BDS suspension has a 2.5 inch leveling kit available it is replacement frt. leafs the only problem I have run ito is the track bar location after the lift its is very hard to get back into the bracket. a good trick is to buy the 4 inch track bar drop brackett also this helps with further lifting the link to bds is bds-suspension.com the springs ride very well. This is the best method. the second best is shakles easy installation but you still have the factory sag especiallly in diesel applications. Whatever you do do not use superlift or rough counrty the quality is just not there.

I've installed both the spring kits and the hanger kits from Donahoe Racing. They both work really good. If your factory springs are OK, then the hanger kit would be the way to go, if not get the spring kit. The hanger kit usually gets you a little more lift than the spring kit.

Hope this helps.

DuraWhat, I have 2.5" spring packs made by Tuff Country on my rig. I went with this kit because it included the track bar relocating bracket. Not all brands include the track bar bracket. Here are some pics.

when I did my 01 I left the track bar connected and used a cummalong to pull the axle over into place..

Durawhat, it took around 3 or 4 hours and I had a lot of help from my buddy who is a tractor mechanic. If I would've done by myself it would've taken longer just because I always double and triple check things. One thing that really surprised me about the system was that it actually gave me around 3.5" of lift. Also, I just checked your profile and saw that your rig is a f250. You will need to buy some f350 blocks or an add a leaf for the rear because your front end will be higher then the back. Also, make sure that your track bar is 1" in diameter before you do the install, because some trucks were built with 3/4" bar and the directions specifically state not to install until you get the 1" bar. If you have any questions pm me and I'll try to repy back asap.
