k i have my boost gauge line and my over boost eliminator on the same line, i can only get 20 psi from the gauge, i think it cause the over boost eliminator is there anything i can dod to fix the problem??? and they are about 6" apart
ok well then it is not the boost regulator.. i do believe that 20 is close to max if the waste gate has not be plugged i have a big head waste gate and i have hit 34 psi so if you havent done that then i think 20 psi is all it will push.... to plug the waste gate just unplug the wire going to it and put a screw in the hole and the you should get more psi...
i had the same problem and the boost gauge was before the annihilator. the wastegate was not unplugged and still isn't. I have since went with the MAP maximizer and boost tube and I can see 30#
The overboost annihilator will not make more boost, it will let our truck make more boost. If it is installed correctly and the wastegate line is unplugged it will allow the truck to make more boost.
The overboost annihilator will only let my PCM see 22psi when the truck is now tuned to make 53psi. I would say mine works just perfectly.
